If you're having service issues, please refer here before factory resetting your device. A Factory Reset will completely wipe your device of all data, photos and more. If you are sure you want to move forward with a factory reset, here are the steps by device type.
iPhone:

Backup your data:
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
- Turn on iCloud Backup and tap "Back Up Now."

Disable Find My iPhone:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > Find My > Find My iPhone.
- Turn off Find My iPhone and enter your Apple ID password when prompted.

Perform the Factory Reset:
- Go to Settings > General > Reset.
- Choose "Erase All Content and Settings."
- Enter your passcode if prompted.
- Confirm the action.
Samsung (Android):

Backup your data:
- Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Backup and restore.
- Enable "Back up my data" and "Automatic restore" options.

Remove Google Account (optional):
- Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Accounts.
- Select your Google account and remove it.

Perform the Factory Reset:
- Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.
- Read the information and tap "Reset" or "Reset Phone."
- If you have a Samsung account, you may need to enter your password.
- Confirm the action.
Other Android Devices:

- Go to Settings > System > Backup (or similar, depending on the device).
- Enable "Back up my data" and "Automatic restore" options.

- Remove your Google account.
